Bachelor of Science in Education: Rehabilitation Counseling (Indiana University of Pennsylvania)
Master of Arts: Theology (Augustine Institute)
I went to eight years of Catholic school (Duquesne Catholic) that gave me a solid foundation in my Catholic faith. During my sophomore year of college, I met my husband Kevin through a Catholic retreat program for teens/young adults (Teens Encounter Christ-TEC).
When our two children, Tommy and Maris, were growing up, I was blessed to be a full-time mom and work part time in the workers compensation industry.
Once they were grown, I started to get more involved in our parish, hosting programs like Women of Grace, 33 Days to Morning Glory, etc. I had this yearning to learn more about my Catholic faith, so I returned to school at the Augustine Institute and earned a Masters Degree in Theology.
My goal at NHRCES:
I hope that I’ll be able to share my knowledge that I’ve learned through my education with our schools in the region, by helping our students truly know the love that the Lord has for each and every one of us.
