I am from a small, rural town in Washington County that is about an hour southwest of Pittsburgh. My husband Daniel and I, both graduated from Avella High School. I went on to study Education at Duquesne University and then was hired by my alma mater to teach 9th and 10th grade English. While I was at Avella, I was the yearbook advisor and the varsity girls tennis coach. I then began my masters degree in Education, and have since moved out of teaching and into administration. My husband is an auto body technician and has been working in the field for over 20 years. We have a 14-year-old son named Roman who attends Moon Area High School and is also going to Parkway West for their cyber security program.
